Jill WeatherheadJill Weatherhead B Sc, Grad Dip Hort, Grad Cert L Arch, has worked in horticulture since 1989 with a particular love for rare bulbs and perennials culminating in Possum Creek Perennials for many years in the 1990’s.  An interest in art and design took Jill in another direction when she studied Landscape Architecture at the University of Melbourne and Jill Weatherhead Garden Design was born in 2005.

While the visual is important, other criteria drive her ethos: underlying needs of remnant plants and wildlife where possible; making the garden meaningful to owner or users; and application of all the senses with a emphasis on touch, taste and smell.

Jill Weatherhead is a regular contributor to Country Life Yarra Valley and Ranges and contributing author of Genus Cyclamen (2013).
